I am just so completely overwhelmed by God’s great love for me right now. It’s so amazing that he would give up His one and only Son so that we, sinners, could be saved. Jesus was crucified on the cross and bore our wounds so that we could be pure and clean. That is such an amazing love, it doesn’t compare to anything else. His love for us is endless and He keeps no records of our wrongs. He loves us no matter what, even when we push Him away and are ashamed of Him, he still wants us. Who could ever compare to this? Our God is so beautiful and lovely and kind and the cross is such a lovely symbol of how far our God will go just because He loves us so much.
